GrooveGrid is a local-first desktop application. Your project files stay on your device, while account, billing, and support features require limited personal data to operate.
1. Data Collection
- GrooveGrid may collect personal data you provide for account-related features, including your email address and optional name.
- If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile details needed to authenticate your account, such as your email address, display name, and provider account identifier.
- If you contact support or send feedback, we may receive the information you include in your message.
2. Local Storage
- Project files and workspace data are intended to remain on your machine.
- Files remain in user-defined directories.
- The desktop app uses local storage on your device for app metadata and workflow data.
3. Account and Authentication
- Account features may require sign-up, sign-in, email verification, or device login.
- We store account records needed to authenticate you and manage access to free or paid features.
- The website may store authentication tokens in your browser to keep you signed in.
4. Billing and Payments
- Paid subscriptions are processed through Razorpay.
- GrooveGrid may store billing metadata such as your subscription status, payment reference, customer identifier, billing amount, and renewal date.
- GrooveGrid does not store full payment card or bank details in this website codebase.
5. Email and Service Providers
- GrooveGrid may send verification and billing-related emails.
- GrooveGrid uses third-party providers for specific functions such as Google sign-in, payment processing, and transactional email delivery.
6. Analytics, Logging, and Security
- We do not currently use advertising trackers or product analytics on the website.
- We may keep basic server-side logs and request metadata for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
- Since GrooveGrid is local-first, the security of your project files also depends on the security of your own device and environment.
